This week, Wizkids expand their popular Star Trek themed games and systems with a pair of releases set to stun. First, the eagerly awaited Star Trek HeroClix: Tactics makes a foray into the Game Store Neutral Zone, while an expansion pack for Star Trek: Expeditions means your Away Team can now muster five members...

First, there's the twenty pre-painted Federation and Klingon ships that make up Star Trek HeroClix: Tactics. From the publisher:

Star Trek HeroClix: Tactics puts you in command of Federation and Klingon vessels and is 100% compatible with the HeroClix core rules system. Tactics is intended as a standalone game system and will exist outside of the Modern and Golden Age tournament environments. What this mean is Tactics operates by the same rules and Powers and Abilities card that your standard HeroClix game is played with, but is meant to be played as its own game.

Alongside this exciting release is the Star Trek: Expeditions Expansion Set, allowing the game to grow from four to five players. Again, from the publisher:

Three new crew members report for duty to assist you in your mission of peace on the planet Nibia in this first expansion set for Star Trek: Expeditions — the cooperative mission game based on the hit movie Star Trek by renowed designer Reiner Knizia. This expansion adds these three new pre-painted HeroClix figures of Lt.
