Some games call them pre-cons, others intro packs, others theme decks, others starter decks...it doesn't really matter what you call them, what they aim to do is the same - provide a solid play experience, offer a hand to newer players, showcase the latest set, and provide ready-to-play decks that play well with and against each other. In the WOW TCG, these products are called Class Starters, and they tick all the boxes we've just mentioned. Whatever your favorite class, you'll be able to take that class deck straight off the shelf, with a ready-made 60 card deck to take you onto the battlefield. If your perfect combination of class and faction isn't available, the 'reverse' set will be coming late in 2011, but here you get the choice of Priest, Paladin, Mage, Hunter, and Druid for Alliance, while the Horde gets Rogue, Death Knight, Warrior, Warlock, and Shaman. The product looks wonderful, plays well, and delivers everything you could want at a very reasonable price, especially as there's a free War of the Elements pack included, exclusive to your local hobby store.
