I have bought a lot of Pathfinder products, and I really wish the Beginner Box was available when I started because if you are new to RPGs, you really do need someone to guide you through it, and this box will take the place of a friend quite easily and let you and several friends learn to play the world's most popular roleplaying game and start killing kobolds quickly (darn, so close).
This is what the Dungeons and Dragons Starter Set should have been. The standees, map and dice alone are worth the price of the set and will see use long after the starter adventure is completed.
Great content! Very impressed on how the game is designed to teach new players. Very easy to understand with a walk through format.

A great introduction to the world of role playing, a game that's full of Wonders, and an island in a tin. All in our Holiday Gift Guide 2011.
