Easily the best card game that I've played other than Doomtown, the A Game of Thrones LCG offers a rewarding head to head or multiplayer experience with a wealth of strategic options.
Overall its a fun game that has clearly been influenced by other great games such as Risk, Diplomacy and Magic: The Gathering, but it doesn't quite capture the simplicity and fun of its predecessors. My playgroup took a while to really learn the rules, longer than we usually do for a board game, and had to check them at least once a turn during the actual game play.
